There are lots of blogspot blogger who wants to have a wordpress functionality in their blog showing   incoming search terms. While trying to use and search for better widgets and gadgets  promising this functionality, until now no such script has been created to produce a closer resemblance like that on the wordpress.  To work this around, I created a simple script using the Tynt.com api to display top incoming search terms by your visitors in a single page.
Here are the steps in creating your version of my script
1. Create an account in tynt.com and install all their script  in your website HTML.
2. Go to API and copy your api secret codes.
3. Now for the javascipt. Replace the key and the code highlighted in white with your api code. You can also
set the period for which the search term may update itself.

function fillTable(result) {
                var table = document.getElementById(‘inbound_keywords’).tBodies[0];
                var data = result.data;
                for (var i = 0; i < data.length; i++) {
                    table.innerHTML += [‘<tr>’, ‘<td>’, data[i][0], ‘</td>’, ‘<td>’, data[i][1], ‘</td>’, ‘</tr>’].join(”);
            var script = document.createElement(‘script’);
            script.src = ‘https://api.tynt.com/publisher/v1/keyword/inbound?site_guid=YOUR SECRET CODE&api_key=YOUR API KEY&hours=24&callback=fillTable’;
            script.async = ‘async’;

4.Upload your the javascript in google servers using Google Code and obtain the address of your script. See Blogger Tips and tricks for complete tutorial on how to upload your .js file and how to copy your link address. You could also host the script directly in your HTML.
5. After you obtained your .js link address. You can now start to fetch the data from tynt servers using this code. You can make a static search term page just for the search terms or you can paste it as a gadget.

<div dir=”ltr” style=”text-align: left;” trbidi=”on”>
<div dir=”ltr” style=”text-align: left;” trbidi=”on”>
Top Generated <b>search terms/ keywords</b> used by our visitors to&nbsp; arrive in <b>Entrance University Portal</b>.  <br />
<table id=”inbound_keywords”><thead>
</thead>             <tbody></tbody>         </table>
<script charset=”utf-8″ src=”http://YOUR JavaScript link address” type=”text/javascript”>
       </script> </div>

This scipt might improve your SEO and will help you directly monitor your top search terms in your website . Tynt also helps your website’s link shared when someone copy and pasted your content. Any suggestion to improve this widget will be appreciated. This is my first tutorial in creating a gadget in blogger I hope this helps.
