About the School

Tonsberg International Training Center, Inc. (TITCI) was created having the ultimate goal of uplifting the quality of our seafarers. Bearing in mind that the Maritime Industry is the most highly regulated industry, as such we aim to be the producer of an internationally qualified seafarers. Tonsberg passion is to provide trainings of international standards.
This drives the company to gear up and achieve its ISO Certification. Tonsberg received its ISO 9001:2008 Certificate from Bureau Veritas Certification on February 8, 2014, which signifies compliance to International Standard.

All our Instructors and Assessors are active, experienced and weather worn officers and cannot wait to selflessly impart the knowledge and skills honed by their hardwork and dedication to their duties and responsibilities while on board. Quality of our training shows in the highest passing rate of students taking NTC Written Examination and Practical Assessment.

The center is equipped with state of the art GMDSS simulator (Poseidon GMDSS simulator) and branded LIVE radio equipment so that the trainees can really feel the reality of actual training while communicating with a ship at anchor or underway. Further, faculty are experienced radio operators /instructors who are still actively working on board and who can impart the knowledge and skills needed in order to get the quality training mandated by STCW2010 Manila amendments and in addition is the bonus on much needed training using g the GMDSS simulator in order to pass the practical assessment . Poseidon GMDSS simulator is used by NTC-accredited GOC practical assessment centers.
